Kyla McCarthy

Prenatal Training

Kyla took her first yoga class when she was fifteen years old after her mom enrolled her in teen yoga at a neighborhood studio in New Jersey. Kyla grew up playing soccer and thought yoga was a bit boring and ended up falling asleep for most of the class. Kyla enjoyed sleeping in yoga so much that she received a C in her high school gym yoga class.

Kyla first stepped into the hot room at age nineteen to give yoga one more shot. She was immediately hooked and found it was the one place where she could focus, deal with the challenge of staring at herself in the mirror, and gain discipline. The practice helped her battle anxiety, depression, learn to love herself and gave her a sense of purpose.

Six years into her practice she knew she wanted to be a teacher when it became less about her own practice and more about sharing her passion for yoga with others. Kyla attended Bikram training Spring 2015 in Thailand and has been teaching consistently ever since. Kyla received her 200 Hour Vinyasa, 75 hour Mentorship and 25 hour Restorative Training at Yoga Vida. In 2022 Kyla received her 85 hour Prenatal Yoga Certification at the Prenatal Yoga Center and was lucky enough to teach at PYC throughout her pregnancy. She believes that yoga is a wonderful practice for the pregnant body because it not only helps ground and calm the mind but can be a tool to prepare for childbirth. Kyla gave birth to her baby boy Finn in April 2023 and can be found running off to yoga class any free second she has!

Pam Skop

She owns a small psychotherapy private practice in New York focused on the treatment of perinatal mental health disorders and eating disorders. Pam has devoted her career to making connections between the mind and body and utilizing both on a path to healing. In her experience as a nanny and training as a postpartum doula she has seen firsthand the life changing impact of having children and she is very passionate about supporting people as they navigate this time in their lives. She is grateful to all of her mentors and teachers who have instilled in her the confidence to do the work she does and share her knowledge with others.

Keith Borden

Anatomy Training

The classes I offer are energetic and balanced, and are infused with playfulness and creativity. I strive to live, breathe, and offer the devotion-rich yoga that comes out of my daily home practice. I'm a singer, kirtan wallah, a bhakta, and an interfaith minister. I always chant with my classes, and occasionally I play and sing during savasana.

I love to experiment in my practice, and years of Muay Thai, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong have taught me that all movement is healing and complementary to my sadhana. My goal is to hold a space that fosters inner quiet, true strength, and a healthy, joyous spirit where students can re-unite with and REJOICE in their true Self.

Kenny Frisby

FLY: Inversions and Arm Balances, Sequencing and Mythology

I'm Kenny and I've been teaching Yoga for the last 10 years. Over the years, I've had the great opportunity to share these practices and my passion for the FLY life in multiple advanced trainings, workshops and classes.  For me, it's only "advanced" when we contemplate the deeper meaning or mythology of the poses we practice. Within the FLY practice, specifically arm balances, we're invited into the mystical world of wise sages, majestic birds, and more. Beyond the physical benefits, the poses offer up beautiful (and practical!) spiritual wisdom to inspire, expand, and elevate our lives.

Lizzie Falkner

Restorative Training

The moment I could put a prayer to my heart  I have been on a soulful quest.

Since college in 2003, yoga has transformed how I live, breathe & interact in the world. Coming from a dancer's background, I aim to move in my body as a messenger of strength, grace & balance. If I am conscious of my thoughts & practice to LIVE in my body, I can walk a path with light…..or at least try.

Currently, I lead retreats around the world. I've co-lead 200 hour & 25 hour advanced teacher trainings at Laughing Lotus NYC, Shaktibarre BK, Lucent & Chakra University in Charlotte, NC.

I am 500 hours certified in Bhakti, FLY, Energy & the Subtle Body, Super Sequencing, Anatomy + Alignment, RIEKI & Hands On Assists from Laughing Lotus NYC & Maha Rose Center. Teaching full time since 2014.

My classes are filled with good beats & an energized open level vinyasa flow. There is a dash of mantras, mudras, meditation & YOU!

Just breathe & let your soul flow.
